Have my ideal build in mind at the moment, but I need to reduce the cost a bit while preserving as much of the performance. Plan to use it for Adobe Creative Suite (Vector work, Photo Editing, Digital Painting), SketchUp, Cinema4D, and Gaming (AAA RPG, FPS, Strategy titles). I am looking for 1440p monitor for work, but I'm okay with dropping my gaming resolution to 1080p if it helps me save some money on the GPU.

Based on what I plan to use my computer for and budget, will the i5 8600K be a better choice? Feel free to recommend different components (that offer better value), point out any potential bottlenecks, or correct any other noob mistakes I've made. Hoping to be able to reduce the bill a tad.
