Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012: How to directly get into the settings

Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 for PC.

So I changed the settings from this game to ultra HD (3840 x 2160) and since then it has crashed and I can't start the game properly anymore. It will get stuck in the second load screen (the moment you will see your car and stats) and the game crashes immedeatly...

Does anyone knows how to change the settings without launching the game or a button shortcut that immedeatly goes to the settings when it's on the "pres any key"-screen?

go to this file \Documents\Criterion Games\Need For Speed(TM) Most Wanted\config.NFS13Save.

open in notepad and change the resolution from there. about halfway down is height and width. set it to 1920 x 1080 again and you should be good to go
