Need For Speed Most Wanted directx 9.0 problem

Hello everyone I'm having the problem with directx 9.0 when installing most wanted. And none of the solutions helped (i was checking another thread which was open for about 5 years now) i tried compatibility mode,tried patching,reinstalling. when i changed the Directx version:0 in autorun.cfg i finally managed to install it but now because the version was set to 0 Most wanted keeps freezing every few seconds... and it didn't before ! i mean my computer is a slow one but still it always played most wanted without any lag or freezing.. Plz guys if there is anyone help me out.
I'm running this computer on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.

NFS most wanted 2005? what is your PC spec? make sure you have latest version of DirectX 9.0c installed on your PC

directx 9.0 is mostly because of d3dx9_26.dll. to fix it download d3dx9_26.dll zip file.then extract it to desktop.After that copy it to C:/windows/system32. if still not copy to C:/windows/sysWOW64.Thanks!
