Hello frnds......i have old pc having jetway Mo.Bo 945gcm2s-a2-6h,CPU core2duo E4500,palit gt610 2gb ddr3 GPU,2GB(2x1 DDR2 667m.Hz RAM).generic 450w PSU.but the game is running on these specs which it shudnt at rew resolution and low video settings. according to minimum game settings it needs a core2du0 2.4ghz processor to run.is my cpu overclocking?will my system gets damaged?forgot to mention OS....windows 8.1 pro 32bit

Official minimum cpu requirement for NFS The Run is a 2.4ghz core 2 duo. So I'd assume you will be fine on low settings. I would worry more about the gt610 causing you trouble considering that is an entry grade video card.

Also, what is the clock speed on that cpu?

Its not overclocking. The game requires 2.4 GHz as minimum but you have 2.2 GHz. There is not much difference.

You must have heard of Dying light game which came recently with following system min req-

Core i5-2500 3.2 GHz , Nvidia GTX 560 or AMD HD 6870 and RAM: 4GB.

However i was able to run the game on this specs-
Intel pentium G2030, Intel HD Graphics(Processor graphics) and 3GB RAM.

The game runs quite good but only if i had one more GB of RAM. I get about 20 FPS .

So at last i am trying to say that your PC is not overclocking. Just chill and relax. The system req give by game designer is actually somewhat not real.
