Need gaming laptop advice

Looking for a laptop that will be capable of running Defiance for my wife which will also double as a pc for her crocheting shop. I know little to nothing about laptops and gaming as I am a desktop gamer. I need to know if the following laptop would run the game at a medium to high setting.

Actually, that laptop isn't too bad. It should be fine for playing defiance at those settings

Ahh not a problem. The Y500 is a really nice machine. I have the Y400 and love it. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about it.
