Need Gaming PC Build Help

First thing I should say is I'm new to this and don't know a whole lot so be prepared to be smothered with questions. I'd like to speak with someone who has experience building and isn't going for a quick solution. I know I want to build a gaming PC with wifi compatibility for a reasonable price. I would like to play all the high end games on high graphics but not break the bank. Price would be an unknown for me since I'm not familiar with price to performance. Just shoot me a build that can run high end games for a decent budget and try to help me with a few questions . I also need a monitor and I'd like to have windows 8 OS.

Ok just two more questions. Would the motherboard support a wifi card or would you recommend a USB adapter? And would any monitor do?

Oops one more lol with the compatibility notes it says I might have to remove some drive bays for the graphics card. Would that be simple?

With a PCI wireless adapter the card would fit inside the pc rather than an external USB. Either one will work fine. Any monitor will do but try to get at least one with a resolution of 1920x1080p, that is if you don't already have a monitor to use.


The drives can be removed easily and they use a tool-less design.

If you want to include one now that would be nice, but it's not necessary. It would help the CPU remain at a lower temperature and also you would be able to overclock it. For $30 you can get the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO.

Your choice. The 770 performs maybe a few fps better ( if that). Both are solid choices. I'll post an updated build soon.

How does that look. All I did was change the case to red and upgrade the graphics card and storage. Would a single 2TB HDD be better than 2 1TB? And I wanted to ask whether you think the thermal paste that comes with the cooling unit would be good enough for overclocking or if I should buy my own. And I can't see which speakers are on the list if you remember could you link them or are they the Maudios up above?

Speakers are also included( M-Audio) and the stock paste will be fine for overclocking, but you will get slightly better temps if you use thermal paste. You can pick up a tube pretty cheap for around $7.
