The monitor that the OP suggested is pretty much the best one he can get for 350 dollars. It's the one I'm using, he won't be disappointed. No offense, but if you haven't used a 120Hz monitor, then you don't understand why it is the most important aspect of purchasing a monitor today.

I don't sit back that far. I hope it's not bad on my eyes? It's kind of immersive.

I like my 27" 1ms response 1080p Samsung P2770FH. They have this monitor at Samsclub.com for $299 (I got it on sale @$249).

How about this one? It's $100 cheaper and is very great, supports HDMI, DVI, and VGA. Only downside are the speakers intergrated in the back b/c the sound isn't very good for bass music.

This is the newegg equivalent:

I don't know if I could personally do a refurb though. It's hard enough to get manufacturers to back their new products, though it does say it has a 1 year warranty.

Psycho's recommendation is a good one..... that is a very good monitor and it is 120 Mhz , however that particular deal is for a factory refurbished model and I wouldn't go there , especially with a monitor. Gotta figure original buyer returned it for a reason.

Does seem like a sweet deal though.
