Hi; I've been trying to play fallout 4 and i have everything set as low as possible but i'd like to get a card that will allow for high settings or at least medium and consistently good framerates at 1080p. Also want to overclock my old phenom II using the asus 'turbov' software so i ordered one of those 'hyper evo 212' coolers and hope that will be sufficient. I also ordered a samsung ssd drive to run windows and a couple games on.

I also just overclocked my old HD 5770 using the catalyst overdrive and my framerate did improve but i'd like a beefier GPU for $150 or less. The GTX 1050 ti has been suggested. I've always used AMD products so what would you guys say is the amd equivalent to the 1050 and should i stick with amd or does it matter? Most importantly, when i upgrade to an AM4 socket MB in the future, i'd like to put the new card in it.......and the gpu needs a display port like i use now which is a DVI-I....i think

i'd appreciate yall's input. thanks

The rx560 is a good bit faster than the old HD5770. So atleast get the rx560 or 1050ti. If you could wait for the rx570 prices to rebound would be the best option.

I'm seeing nearly twice the power on benchmarks favoring the 570 over the 560 so thanks for that heads up! think i'll keep saving my pennies and get the 570. thanks
