This card will be going into my pc I'm currently building for a home/work pc
It will be used to play some games maybe Witcher and various applications my wife uses for school.
Monitor listed below, but I'll be running it at 1080p.
Size of the card won't be an issue.
Looking to purchase at anytime if I can find one at a good price.
Price range of $100-250 depending on what it is.
I'm open to any cards, but must be 6gb or higher, want it to last awhile.

I'm considering a RX 580 or similar right now, but if anyone has one for sale or knows of a deal let me know.
Ebay is a hit or miss since a lot of them have been used for mining.

Current setup is:

MUSETEX ATX Mid Tower Gaming
ASUS B450-F ROG STRIX Gaming AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard
GeIL SUPER LUCE RGB SYNC 16GB (2 sticks @3200), will get another 16gb in a month or so.
Ryzen 5 3600
Stock Fan for CPU, will upgrade to AIO in a month or so
1 m.2 Samsung Evo Pro 970 1tb
1 SSD Samsung Evo 860 1tb
650 EVGA 80+ Bronze PSU
TP LInk WFI Adapter
USB Bluray
ASUS 23.8" Class 1080p Full HD IPS Frameless 75Hz Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync Monitor @1080p
Logitech Keyboard and Mouse USB Wired

Solution
Well for the price point I’m looking at a RX 580 Red Devil Golden. Seems like a decent deal for the price.
But I’ll keep looking too. I do like the idea of a 1070 but will it hold up for another 2-4 years?

I think the 5600xt is out of my price range right now. But I do like the card.
1070 will without a question be a beast of a gpu,its stronger than all of those cards (rx 580/590,1660/ti,5500xt).
Its no quite stronger than 5600xt,but its definitely up there with it.
on the other hand 1070 Ti is stronger than 5600 xt,but i think its way more expensive (like 100-200$)
I would go for the 1070 if i were you.

rx 590 8gb fatboy.
My friend has it in a similar setup as yours (his mobo is tomahawk max,and some storage differences)
it hasnt dissapointed him yet.
i found one on amazon for 220$
https://www.amazon.com/XFX-RX-590P8...rds=1070&qid=1592336581&s=electronics&sr=1-40

Edit:If you can somehow find gtx 1070/ti for 250$ and under,it will be the best purchase, but rx 590 still is a beast of a budget gpu

I've looked on ebay and they RX 580 for a decent looking one is currently around $150 and that's with it probably been in a mining rig.

Also the issue I'm running into everyone is price gouging right now. The 1660s or 1660ti are well over $250 on ebay. If I could find one in store that would be awesome, but no one around me has it in stock.

I don't care if it's new or used, but don't want one out of a mining rig.

I'll take a look at that RX 590 and see. I've been trying to keep an eye out on ebay, but man people are just crazy on there.

I know my local best buy had a 5500xt 8gb for $200 on sale, but they're sold out.

I’ve been looking there but everyone is pretty much sold out.

Is there one that’s a better bang for the buck?
rx580/590, 1070, 1660 or 2060?
that’s assuming in my price range if I find one.

I’ll keeps the 1070 and 1660ti in mind. Keeping an eye out on it.

that’s what I’m thinking in the rx590 and 5500xt. Not much or a performance upgrade from the rx580 for the price difference.

I wish I could find a nitro+ that hasn’t been in a mining rig. Most I ask about have been.

I was actually able to buy a Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 8G last night for $150 with free shipping. It's an open box and not really used but for a month if that he said.

I was bidding on a 1070TI, but it got over my $250 budget.
