Need GPU for x4 950

Any graphics card pretty much is fine, but you don't say WHAT you need it for and the budget.

A GTX1050Ti is an excellent low/mid-range graphics card and can play ANY GAME if you carefully tweak the game settings.

It's about $150USD I think, though a GTX1060 3GB card (i.e. EVGA single-fan) is $200USD and performs a lot better.

Ok right now i really cant afford the g4560 because im in the AU. But i think the x4 950 will fail at cpu intensive games. So i need help picking a nice cpu and gpu for about $150 AUD.

If you are building an entire new PC you should have that as the focus of your question, give a budget, EXACTLY what you need in that budget (monitor, Windows 10...) and use PCPARTPICKER as a guide. Select Australia from the top-right.

*And the X4-950 is a reasonably good CPU for the budget:

That's similar to the i5-2400: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i5-2400+%40+3.10GHz

No, it's not the best CPU but you are very unlikely to get much better for the price. I would also look at NEW PARTS if the performance is close.

The G4560 is also similar. It will do BETTER in most games as it's higher performance per core but less cores. If a game can use MOST of the CPU it should do slightly better on the 4-core CPU's above:

the X4 950 if the cheapest CPU or about the same as the G4560 is definitely the best choice. The AM4 socket allows for currently up to the r7-1800X (8-core/16-thread) CPU with the possibility that ZEN2 will also be compatible with AM4 down the road (i.e. maybe 10 to 25% performance boost depending on overclockability).

The X4 950 is still the older architecture, but AMD made it compatible with the AM4 socket which then allows an upgrade path again to RYZEN CPU's which is really the position you want to be in.
