I'm building a gaming pc and was looking to get either a 780 or 780ti. However I've read that the 20nm maxwell 900 series gpus will be a huge jump in performance, noise, and thermals compared to the 700 series. And the 900 series is set to be released sometime next year. So my question is should I just go with a gtx 770 for right now and save my money for the 900 series? Will a gtx 770 be good enough for 1080p and at least 60 frames per second on most games coming out until then? I just don't want to buy a 780 so late with the next gen gpus coming out within a year. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Yeah that's why I was looking to just get a 770 for now. I just wasn't sure if it would be able to handle all the games coming out until the 20nm maxwell gpus arrive. Like games coming out this fall and early next year. Even some games now. I'm looking to play games on ultra and get at least 60 frames on most games. Mostly shooters and RPGs. So would a 770 suffice?
