Hey Guys,

I need suggestion for graphics card for my build mentioned below. I would like to crossfire the graphics card with my AMD A10 APU.

Processor: AMD A10 7850K APU - Contains inbuilt of Radeon R7
RAM: 16 GB of DDR3 1800MHz
Disks: SSD primary and HDD secondary
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H, FM2+ socket
Power supply: Cooler Master 500W Thunder

Thanks in advance.

Solution
AMD Radeon Dual Graphics is an innovative technology exclusive to AMD platforms that allows AMD APUs and select AMD Radeon discrete GPUs to work together. It is not known as "crossfire".

Recommended graphics card for that A10 7850K would be the R7 250 or the R7 240.

Kaveri launch documentation stated that the APUs support Radeon R7 series cards with DDR3 memory under Windows 7, Windows 8 and Linux operating systems. Current list of confirmed working cards includes Radeon R7 240 and R7 250 GPUs, either with DDR3 or GDDR5 memory.

The Sapphire R7 250 Ultimate card is based on a different graphics core than other R7 250 products, and it is not supported. AMD R7 250X cards are rebranded HD 77xxx series cards, and they do not support...

A A10-7850K in dual graphics mode with the max GPU supported "R7 250" Wasn't all that great 4 years ago, how well do you think it would fair now? That dual graphics pair was slower than just running a 1030 GT so anything above that is going to be an upgrade. With those APU's overclock them as much as possible, get the fastest RAM possible and tossing in a GPU in the range of a 1050/1050 TI/ 1060 3gb/RX 560/RX 570 and hope for the best. Those are not the great gaming chips and something like 40% slower in everything when compared to a Ryzen 1200 and i3 7100.
