Need guidiance for two cables.

I have two cables that still need to be wiered up, buy i have no clue as to where they should go.

It is the white one and the black one, the long wire i am holding up is still conected to the old mobo, can i cut that off? Both the black and white wires seem to come from above the CDROM drive..

Edit: the black wire has 4 connectors at the bottom and two on the top it looks like this:
ooxxx
oooo-
X representing an open but empty slot O being an open slot with connectors - being closed.

The white wire is just one line like this: oooox

The small black connector with one pin missing looks like the USB header. Just look for the corresponding slot on that one and the molex one, the one with 4 pins should go in the CD Drive if it's old but if not, you can leave it out.

I can assure you that they both come from the front panel and i already have two cables in both of the USB slots and they are also correct these cables should have something to do with the booting button and si on..

I think that hp might have improvised and just clumped the start button and led lights together with this stock case, is this possible?
