I would really appreciate some help deciding which PSU I should pick for my new build.

As I plan to do some overclocking I’m not quite sure if a 750w PSU will be necessary or whether a 650w one would suffice.

Here are the Specs:

Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
Intel i7 6700k
Noctua nh-d15
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW
Samsung 950 Pro 512gb
2x16GB Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 mhz
1x Soundcard (Creative Fatal1ty something)
1x Optical DVD-RW/CD-RW disk reader
2x Razer Gaming Mice
1x Corsair Gaming Keyboard
1x Xbox Wired Controller
4x Case fans (1x 200m, 1x140mm, 2x 120mm)
Case: Thermaltake F31 Suppressor

In terms of OC, here’s what I have I mind:
- Ram Memory: 3400mhz
- CPU: 4.5 or 4.6 ghz, depending on temps
- GPU: just some small/mid degree OC, nothing extreme.

I don’t intend to SLI in the future, so I’m not looking for a PSU which would give me room for future upgrades.

Thanks!

Realistically, at stock you'd pull a max theoretical load of a little north of 400W (although you'd never pull that in 'real world' use). A quality 550W would probably suffice, with 650W giving you ample headroom (assuming it's a quality PSU).
Thanks for the quick answer.

I've run some tests using these online power supply/watts calculators and most of them showed a 400-500 watts consumption for my system.

So I’m guessing I will be safe with 650w.
