Need help about cpu getting heated up

Hi! my cpu configuration is below--
amd athlon x2 260 3.2 ghz proceesor
4gb starlite ddr3 1333 ram
gigabyte 78lmts2p motherboard
amd ati radeon hd 6670 1gb ddr5 gfx card
wd 500gb hdd
iball lpe223-400 smps
lg l1515s tft monitor

after installing the gpu,the cpu parts are becoming more hotter....why is it so?

if i play a game like bf3 for an hour,then play fifa12,the game slows down..whats the probable problem??

i dont know the cpu temp..but at idle,the gpu temp is around 38 degrees..the gpu's fan speed is 28%..

Use Hwmonitor to monitor temps. Is the cooler installed correctly, as to answer your initial question: Heat rises, so putting a gpu that has heat rise, that heat will get into your cpu heatsink. Thus raising temperatures.
