need help about my new screen dell s2216h

I just hooked my xbox 360 with my dell s2216h ips panel and ran far cry 4 on it.When i ran it i saw black bars on top and bottom.No other game did that.I use a hdmi cable for my monitor.My previous monitor samsung s22e310 ran without these bars and was about the same sceen size as my new monitor.please help!

hmm when you say black bars do you mean a large area of the screen is occupied by black boarders?
you need to change your monitor display ratio but idk how to do that on a zbox

No the bars are just 2mm high on top and bottom of screen.I tried changing the aspect ratio to all possible ratios,16:9,5:4,and others but it didn't solve the problem

Yes i directly connect my xbox to my monitor via hdmi.

i can't find a fix for this, i've searched through a few threads and none have a solution. i don't think xbox was designed to be paired with a monitor from what i can tell

Do you know any way to access far cry 4's game directory via pc because in case of pc we could go into game directory and change the incorrect resolution.Also my xbox is not jtagged.
