Need help accessing dead/dying hard drive and retrieve files

My hard drive suddenly drive on me.
I tried using linux live to troubleshoot things and luckily my hard drive can still be detected "ST500LT012-1DG142"

But the problem is, I couldn't open it. I tried doing fdisk -l and it doesn't show me anything which makes me worried, even though my dying/dead harddrive still shows up in Computer.

Is there still hope for me?

Try using testdisk. It's available on Windows and Linux too. There's no GUI but if it can't recover your files, then there's nothing you can do with software that will.
