Need Help all Icons are gone

So my question is how do I get my icons back? All desktop icons are gone all thumbnails and icons in windows explorer everything gone.

I have reset defaults 10 times. I have rebuild icon cache like 20 times using downloaded bat files and manually using cmd. I don't know what else to try.

Problem happened when I accidentally pasted 800 photos to my desktop. I went into the desktop via explorer since 800 photos won't show up on the desktop and moved them all where I meant to put them. As soon as I did that boom all icons/thumbnails/etc gone.

Running updated windows 10.

Right click on the desktop and select View and show all desktop Icons option selection Tyler.

Meh, wasn't looking for the simplest possible solution after describing my problem in that way. Ticks me off when ppl give obvious answers. No matter issue already solved.
