Need help and suggestions for a new gaming computer build I plan to buy.

Wasn't sure which forum to post it at, but I'm getting ready to buy a new gaming computer and build it on my own for the first time.

I'm trying to get the best pieces together that I can get without going over $1,200 including taxes and any shipping and handling charges.

For now I'm gonna keep my current keyboard and mouse, plus I'm going to move a 500gb HDD from current computer to the new computer so I'll definately have enough room.

Also, I don't plan to do any overclocking, just want a good computer for gaming to last me 4-6 years from now. Current computer I got has lasted much longer than I expected, it's going on 6 years.

Looks good! I would make a couple of changes, though:

First, if you're ordering the video card from Microcenter, get the i5-4670k instead of the 4570. It's the same price as Newegg's for the 4570:

Second, make sure to get your RAM in a 2 DIMM 2 x 4GB kit instead of the 1 8GB stick so you can take advantage of the dual channel memory the motherboard supports. Otherwise, you're good! Have fun with the build.
