Need help as fast as possible

I am at a crossroads. I want a second monitor for my computer and I want a smallish 3dtv (I'm one of the few people that actally

love 3d!) that I can use as my main computer monitor and watch tv/dvds/bluerays. My computer, an Asus pre-built m51ac, uses an

Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 1 GB that has as output 1 VGA, 1 DVI, 1 HDMI, 1 Display Port.
I am currently using an Emachines e202h 20" using DVI, which will become my secondary monitor.

One of my questions is will a 3d HDTV make a good computer monitor? I'm not a big gammer, but I want the text and computer stuff

too look decent.

3d movies would be nice, but I'll pass on it if it cost too much. Now for the HDTV I'll probably just use an OTA antenna (I'm a

cable cutter).

3d isn't a must-have. I may get the Dell monitor Tigerdirect is clearing out. Watching DVDs should still be okay on thisand it is

Bigger is better, so if I forgo, 3d what is the vbiggest/best monitor I can get for $150 to 275 price range.

BenQ gets 100% from me, I'm currently using one and although it's not 3D it is outstandingly good for its price. I think I picked myn up for £100 can't remember the exact measurements etc. As far as I know from experience BenQ monitors are the best I've ever had, I had a samsung one and some others but this one tops them, the clarity/colour and just general quality is well worth the price and that is an understatement.

Asus VG248QE is a good 3D monitor offering only 1.2ms of latency/input lag http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VG248QE-24-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00B19T7QC price is high but I've always used Asus and they've never let me down. This montior is apparently the best you can buy especially for it's price! The only thing is that's in pounds so I don't really know how much that'd be in dollars but have a look at it anyway.

Search through the Asus range their prices are up and down just hunt and you should find a nice one in all honesty

BenQ again as I said with Asus, I recommend looking around yourself as monitors in my opinion anyway need a certain amount of personal taste, look wise etc as at the end of the day you're gonna be looking upon it not us. That being said BenQ monitors are renowned for their potential in the gaming crowd.

I know that's higher than said amount but just giving you options 😛

Viewsonic V3D231 - I don't know a lot about viewsonic as I've never owned one nor looked into them however My friend owns this monitor as his second and is always recommending it to me he said it's not as great as his BenQ but for 3D it gets the job done really well.

Cut that crap and invest in this. The ONLY 3D monitor I have seen in performance and it blew my mind 2D & 3D when my friend told me it was Phillips I was gob smacked like literally jaw hit the floor. The beauty of it is I know it's $295 but it actually competes with monitors another $60 - $100 more expensive.

No sluggish screen play, no blandness, the colours where vibrant and the quality was outstanding. The 144hz helps depict textures not vastly but better than your average 60hz etc etc it also comes with this nifty remote which my friend was showing off, it aloud him to adjust all the screen details etc without have to fumble around with buttons on the side of the monitor, which for me is always a big bonus. He did mention that when it arrived the stock brightness made the picture a little bland but when you fiddle and set it right for you the monitor comes in to it's own world.

Anyway, hope I helped I'll keep digging and if you want cheaper ones I'll try and link a few ^^

BenQ is pretty good but I would go with the ASUS since they have AMAZING customer support and their products have never failed on me in my opinion.

1 UK pound is about $1.70 USD.
