HI

I have 1 SSD and 2 WD HDD with me.
Today while I was surfing on net WD BLACK 1 TB black automatically gone out and I cannot see it in device manager/SMART softtware.
I restarted and checked it in BIOS and does not show.
I turned off and re insert the cable and then it is now showing and working fine.
I then used "Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnostics" for short test and it says PASS. Will do the extended test soon.
Here is the smart screenshot: http://prntscr.com/98enfd

Is this HDD going to die?

Solution
Well then you have done everything you can.

With any luck it will not bother you any more.

Make sure you keep your backup copies up to date just in case(I use a WDC mybook for this.).

Any idea why it automatically removed in windows while using?
I was uploading a video when upload failed and seen that drive is not their.
This HD was lot of important data and need to get one more new HDD for backup.
Should I be worried and depend on SMART?

Hey there, Sameer_2!

I'm sorry to hear about your connectivity issues with the WD Black. As @nukemaster mentioned the SMART status seems good, but it's always best to keep at least one copy of your data stored somewhere else. Better safe than sorry, right?
I'd also suggest you to run the EXTENDED test soon, just to be absolutely sure about the WD Black's health. Keep in mind that it might take longer, though, so be patient with it. :)

As to why this might have happened? It's most likely something in the connection to the WD Black, perhaps the SATA cable or the SATA port. I'd suggest you to try changing those as well and see if the issue will be resolved.

Keep us posted! Good luck!

I have done the extended test and it says pass http://prntscr.com/98stvf
All good?
Just to be safe I have taken backup as well on another drive.

Hey there again, Sameer_2!

I'd suggest you to open the tab in the DLG tool where you can check the detailed SMART attributes about the WD Black.
I also noticed that you re-seated the SATA cables but haven't tried using different ones. So my recommendation would be to do so, and even try using a different SATA port on the motherboard.
Another thing that might help is resetting BIOS using one of the methods listed here: http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS
However, keep in mind that this procedure will get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so you'd need to reconfigure them afterwards.

Keep us posted. Hope this helps you! :)

I will change SATA ports but if the problem does not come back again then I am good? Right?

Yeah, @Sameer_2! The SMART attributes definitely indicate that the drive is healthy and should function properly!
If the problem is gone, then I do think that you are good!
Either way, you should always keep backups of your data and have at least one other copy of your files stored on a different storage device (off-site or cloud backup). This is the best way to avoid any potential data-loss headaches.

Best of luck! Hope I was helpful! :)
