Need help ASAP please

So I recently got this pc and I tried to overclock gpu and CPU. I'm very new to overclokcing so I was just following tutorials. I decided overclocking wasn't for me so I put the core clock back to what stock is (4.2ghz) and now whatever I do even if it's opening chrome tabs the CPU usage goes to 70%+ and games are choppy as hell, pretty much unplayable. I really need help because I'm freaking out tbh.

Specs: i7 7700k, Asus gtx 1080 strix, asus Z270f strix mobo and corsair vengeance rgb 16gb.

avast or similar antivirus + malwarebyte free to check if it is virus
Check CPU process during that 70% usage, is it just chrome/game or some other processes
If you are lazy, just reinstall OS, that should wipe out all software issues.

if you ask me the memory speed and gpu speeds look wrong but i dont know much about speeds

i have done it. They didnt pick anything up. its a new Computer so i dont know

use task manager > processes, order by CPU usage and screen shot it.

CPU usage goes up but its like something is hidden from the task manager because it doesnt add up

yes everything is legit. Did the windows clean install and it already feels much better. Haven't tested games cos Aussie internet speeds but it feels much smoother. Thank you legend
