[SOLVED] Need help ASAP with ARGB fan controller

Hey there!

So today I installed 4 x Cooler Master MF120R ARGB fans with 3 connected to a mini argb controller by Cooler Master that came included in a 3 pack.
Unfortunately, I didn't realise my mobo has no argb header. I tried using a micro-usb cable from the controller to the usb port on my io and attempted to control the fan colours through the cooler master masterplus software. No colours are showing up and the fans have no leds lit up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks, but I already solved it.
I thought I could get away with not having the thermal sensor plugged in. But I learned that that wasn't the case. The fans need a SATA power connector in order for the RGB to function.
