need help asap....

just built a new gaming system and i installed this windows 8.1(trail version) and it works fine. but the problem is the applications which are running in the background. when im ingame it lags a lot after a certain amount of time and i dont know which apps are making it slow. my ping goes from 29 to 200+ . please give me some suggestions as to what i should do....

Run a tracert to the game ip.
Run a speedtest to check download/upload and latency.

i play vindictus(eu), LoL euw, 4story (uk), CFNA, NFSW (eu).
as i said before, it works fine for a certain period of time then the lag starts out of nowhere,

decrapifymypc.com to remove all the apps and bloat you don't want on your computer, then install CCleaner and use use it to lock down apps and startup programs. after that enable port forwarding on your router.

yes i do use ccleaner but im not sure about the other things you said. my connection is very strong, its just the random apps which restrict my connection.
