So yesterday my pc almost fell off my table ( there’s some empty space in the corner and it fell there but hit the ground and didn’t fall to the ground. And the whole day I’ve been having issues with it. 1st it would turn on and off, fixed it. Now it’s saying “Reboot and select proper boot device. I’ve gone to the bios boot section and all there is on the hard drive is sata3, I’ve tried to mess withthe cables a bit and it’s still like this, what should I do??

Go to MSI's website and look for the motherboard's User Manual.

I found this link:

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/z370m-gaming-pro-ac/support#down-manual

[Verify that the manual is a match to your motherboard.]

Refer to the manual to double check all connections and applicable configuration settings.

Details matter.

Note, for example, that one requirement is that the first physically installed RAM module be placed in DIMMA2 (Page 10).

SATA problem(s). Check M.2 and SATA connections and configuration.

Take your time, read, look, verify.

Hopefully nothing is broke and you are just dealing with some error of omission or commission.
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Disk drive(s): make, model? Which drive is boot? Temporarily disconnect all but the boot drive.

Try booting into Safe Mode.

Failing that:

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Use a bright flashlight and a magnifying glass to inspect for signs of physical damage.

Verify that all connections, cards, RAM, jumpers, are fully and firmly seated.

Do you hear any beeps? Are there any lit motherboard LEDs?

  1. Updated
  2. My windows 10 is on my ssd
  3. Don’t really know
  4. I think they are,
  5. No beeps, but I don’t think there have ever been any beeps. My motherboard comes with LEDs and they are on, also when I startup a couple of lights come up where it says EZ DEBUG LED but I think that has always happened
