Need help! Best hard drive on Newegg.ca?

Looking for a 500gb - 1 tb hard drive to match my build.

It seems every single hard drive on Newegg.ca has bad reviews...

Can anyone recommend the best one?

well the best hhd is the 😀 western digital caviar black 1.5tb yes it has bad reviews BUT thats because almost EVERY part has SOME bad reviews 🙁 and the reason u c EVERY LAST hhd w/ bad reviews is cuz hhd's have much higher fail rates than other parts

I'd say the optimal size/cost drive is this one right here: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148767 For $85, you're getting a decent 500GB hard drive.
While none may be 5 star, there a few things contributing to this.
-High drive prices due to floods
-Higher failure rates than other devices

If price is not an issue, the Samsung Spinpoint F3 is the absolute best drive you can buy. Fastest and most reliable.

Given the prices of hdd's smaller is better right now. So a 500gb is the sweet spot. If you are not going to use an SSD for the boot drive and instead stick with one Hdd for boot and storage then you need the best possible. The WD Black series is that. Longest warranty and as close to industrial strength as you can buy.
