So, My old hard drive got shot out and was giving me tons of problems. Windows was telling me the hard drive was starting to fail. So, I went out and bought a new 1. I got windows 7 ultimate on the hard drive (Hate windows 8/10) and everything installed well. My only problem is, when I unplug and take out the old, messed up hard drive, my computer doesn't boot. Idk what the problem can be. Here some imgur links that I think can help you guys out helping me out.

E: is my new hard drive and j: c: d: is my old one.

E: is my current and default OS, should I delete C? Im scared to do it lol.

Anyways, this is my first time installed a new hard drive so i'm kind of slow on what exactly I need to do here. Thank you guys very much

EDIT: The computer boots up and gives me the splash screen, then goes onto a windows showing patents and GUID numbers n stuff. Then it says it doesn't detect a new hard drive or the hard drive failed.

Solution
Okay guys, I fixed the problem. What I did was installed a software called EasyBCD 2.3 and what I think this program does is create boot files for the hard drive you want to use. Great program. VERY easy to you. Theres a tutorial on how to you it right here....... https://neosmart.net/wiki/easybcd/tips-and-tricks/recovering-windows-bootloader/..... Great program. Saved me lots of trouble of reinstalling windows all over again

Im guessing you want me to delete C: in msconfig right

Ohhh lmfaoo. Noo I don't "hate" windows 8/10 (idk why I wrote hate) I just prefer windows 7 more. Its more simple and easier to use. Lets just say...... im more of a iphone guy then andriod 😉

Excellent. I'm glad you figured it out.
Now do yourself a favour and upgrade to W10 while the free offer lasts(until the 29th). It's a far better OS, as easy if not easyer to use than 7, faster, lighter on resources(works alot better on older hardware because it was made with low power devices in mind, like tablets and stuff) and, if you game, it's mandatory as it's the only OS that will support DX12 games.
Byte the bullet and you won;t regret it. This is a pro bro-tip :)

PS
if you are worried about the telemetry stuff, you should know that that has been implemented in both 7 and 8 aswell.
