Hi guys,
I am currently looking for parts to build a PC, mostly to watch high quality video, listen to music, multitasking some light application such as MS Office, web browser.... Looking for a good speed desktop.
Budget: $700-800, prefer somewhere around 750 if possible
Parts not needed: OS, Monitor
Source: prefer Amazon since i have prime shipping
Some parts that I already looked into:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 3.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
MO: Asus H87-PRO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memor
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer
Is it neccessary to get an I7? I didnt think so but just want to make sure.
Should I spent more on the CPU and downgrade the Video card?
Thank you all for helping

Kept it to Amazon and Newegg.
Added a SSD for overall speed.
Downgraded gpu, though even the 7850 is overkill for your needs. But it will still let you play games if you play them every once in awhile.
