Need help building a gaming pc

Hello,
I have a budget of $600 and here where i live i can get gtx 1060 3g for $320 or a rx 480 for $330-$360 8g.What will be the better option to go with and also what other components should i use to avoid bottlenecking.Is my budget enough or do i need to increase?If either of those cards can not put a PC together what other Specs could i have?
P.S i already own a monitor,copy of windows and gaming gear so that is excluded.

They are quite similar in benchmarking, but the 8GB is more future proofed for gaming demands, and can handle resolutions above 1080p better. If sticking to 1080p, and current / old games, either card really.

Completely up to you as they are both very similar, I will go for the 1060, I once had the 480 and did not like it, (stuff like the Relive it was buggy for me and I did not feel like the card was good)
