Hey, I need help building a gaming pc and it has to stay more or less in the $600-$650 dollar range.
It has to include:the tower, monitor, and keyboard along with windows.
This will also be the first computer I will ever build so I have no idea where to start, I am pretty confident in my self to be able to put it together though.
(It will be used for Gaming and browsing the web)

Solution

Ok, it did end up a little bit over $650, but it's fairly challenging not to when you also need monitor and windows.

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor ADX640WFGMBOX

Mobo: ASUS M4A78LT-M AM3 AMD 760G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Graphics Card: MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone OC GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Memory: Crucial Ballistix sport 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT25664BA1339

PSU: Antec Basiq BP500U 500W Continuous Power ATX12V Version 2.01 Active PFC Power Supply

Case: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM

Monitor: Acer G185HAb Black 18.5" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 50000:1(ACM), 1000:1

Keyboard: IOGEAR GKM513 Black USB Wired Slim Keyboard

Total: $701.45

I'm fairly sure that PSU/mobo will work with everything else, but it would probably be worthwhile to check with some other people
