Hello folks! I'm looking to build a gaming PC, but am slightly behind the power curve of whats out there nowadays. By slightly behind the power curve, I mean that my last build was in 2005 and intended to run Half Life 2 as high as I could. Radeon 9800 Pro, 4GB RAM, AMD Athlon 3000. Obviously, a lot has changed. I've found the Best PC Build tool and feel that's a good start. I'm looking in the $1500 to $1750 range, and I like the look of the "Game Changer," and the "Big things come in small Packages." I am going to continue to do my research, but for you experts out there, what are your opinions on these two build options? I have done a little bit of research into how rigs are working nowadays but am still in the dark on quite a bit. I am also curious which Windows products you all would recommend in order to maximize my bang for buck. Any info and advice will be much appreciated! Drop some knowledge on me!

Thanks much. Is overclocking necessary with the processing that comes stock nowadays? Just read this article as well. Seems pretty rock and roll. http://www.pcgamer.com/pc-build-guide-high-end-gaming-pc/
