Need Help Building My PC ASAP

So basically I am in the middle of building a PC,
here are the parts
Zalman T4 mini tower
R7 260 GPU
AMD 6300
Asus M5A78L
8GB HyperX ram
Seagate ST750LM022 SSD
So basically when i was booting up the SSD from sata port 1, it was just going blank, however the computer did load up the start screen where you can open boot menu etc, I then tried it from my old HDD and it got to the windows 7 start up bit but then said it needed repairing and it would repair, and then just not load. Any idea how to fix the SSd most importantly as i would prefer to use that, but if not the HDD? Thanks 😀

Your SSD is not an SSD but a HDD - google the model number.

How old is the build? Is the OS on the 'SSD' fresh? Can you fresh install it?

The 'SSD' is about 3 years old, we took it out my old laptop, it has windows 8 on, and it worked on my PC yesterday

Have you installed windows on the laptop hard drive you have (the segate is not an SSD, it is a slower 5400 rpm hdd so it is slower then a desktop hard drive)?? It is not going to boot anything if there is nothing on the drive.

Im hopping someone did not sell it to you telling you it was an ssd drive.

Yes it has a copy of windows 8, although it does not have a serial number,
but I just assumed it was an SSD 😀
