Hello, very soon I will be building my first PC ever! I'm very excited yet very nervous. With my new PC I plan mostly on gaming with light video editing(Youtube). I hope to play games like GTAV,Fallout 4, Minecraft, Skyrim, LoL, CSGO, Witchcer 3, and most other triple A titles. I hope to play in 1080p 40+fps. I have many questions, so to start does an Ethernet cord come with the computer case? Also with my build should I go with an MSI R9 280x or an MSI R9 380? Another question is there any case similar in looks and quietness to the Fractal Design Define R5 with a 5.25in drive bay? Do you need an anti static band or is there another way to ground yourself?
Any other tips for a first time builder that you wish you would have known your first time around? Also I know I went overkill on my motherboard but I do plan on upgrading to an i5 4690k as soon as possible. Here is build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wQrRt6
My budget is around $850 components $1200 with Operating System and Moniter

Hey man,
Those parts you picked don't go together nicely.
Here's what to do; Change the i3 to the i5 4690K. Change the mobo to the cheapest Z97 board available.
If your'e not gonna OC then get a non-K i5 and a H97 mobo. Change the GPU to a GTX 960 as the CUDA cores will help reduce rendering times.
For your budget I would go with the S340 instead. Since it's an open chamber case airflow is plenty so fans can run at low RPM's.
Ditch the DVD-Drive as they are obsolete and install windows via USB.
Also, add in an SSD and you'll be good to go :)
I really don't have any advice for you as building a PC is straight forward just be sure to take your time and don't rush. Always make sure your connections are in the right place :)
Good luck!

This build is so unbalanced. You do not need a motherboard like that (mobo has reliability issues too) also the PSU needs serious help. This build is much happier:

The 4690k is misplaced in price. Xeon 1231 has 4 more virtual cores and performs better than a oc'd 4690k. Intel is releasing new CPUs in a couple of weeks so I would wait until then. The above build will perform 15-35% better in games and 40-50% better in renders.

You do not NEED any antistatic protection if you ground yourself first properly.
