Hey guys, i just bought the xl2430 but I'm very unreleased with it's colours after calibration, so i'm sending it back.

Can you guy recommend a good 1080p monitor? It can be either TN, IPS or VA but I'd prefer it to be 24"

Budget of around £400

This monitor was one I was considering prior to getting the xl2430

The other monitor was this...

Since I already have a 1080p 144hz g sync monitor do you think it may be a good idea to have a high quality looking 4k monitor?

If i want to play comp i can use my 1080p and if i want great graphics/colours i can use the 4k monitor.

The reason why I'm considering getting the 4k monitor is future proofing. When computer prices become less inflated I'll most likely upgrade.

I do understand i'll have to turn down some of the goodies with my current hardware while gaming on the 4k monitor

Yeah I was looking at that asus 1440p and the acer one (link below). The issue is they're both more expensive than the 4k. I will most likely be upgrading when the next gen GPUs come out, Will the OC'd 980 be able to get around 35-45 fps with decent setting at 4k?

Wow. I guess i'll go with the g sync asus you recommended.

In terms of image quality, will the asus be better, compared to my current xl2420g and xl2430 (getting returned)?
