[SOLVED] Need help buying a new graphic card!

I play games like csgo/league of legends, and i play get a dropping ~100 fps, can't play games like cod modern warfare or fortnite on low settings cuz i get really bad fps and blurry screen cuz i have to play on low settings, i think it's cause i have a really old graphic card.
I have an intel core i5-3330 CPU 3ghz.
6GB ram
and a gtx 640 graphic card!
I know i have an old cpu too but i hope i can get a new good graphics card thats compatible with it, any suggestions? my price range is around 200-300.
I have little knowledge about these things so any help is appreciated!

OC the CPU and get an Nvidia 1660 Super for about 230-240$.

You need 100fps+ at 1080p?

Yea something like that would be good, how do i overclock my cpu and is that safe and possible with mine?

What brand of PC you have? You can OC the CPU in bios but you need to watch the temperatures with speedfan program.

You won't get 100fps+ at 1080p games maxed out with that PC, more like 45-50 fps average given that CPU.

No, as that would require a new motherboard and ram too.
You can't overclock that cpu as it's multiplier locked and the only way to oc those is by bclk which is usually locked in oem builds.

Getting a 3770k right now would just be a waste of money.

the i5 3330 can still run LoL and CS:GO just fine.

If your screen is 60hz you don't need more than 60fps.
