Question Need help buying a new monitor

Hey, I’m currently looking to buy a new 1440p Ultrawide monitor with G sync.
My budget is about 1000$

So far the two that have caught my eye are the Dell Alienware 1900R

And the Asus ROG Swift

Im literally only going to be gaming on my monitor but I really don’t know what all to look for outside of size resolution and Hz. I’d like one that has good colors but I don’t really know what to look for.

Also I have a gtx 1080 graphics card

I personally would by the Alienware, as it has a 120 hz panel. Not sure if it has a difference to you. But it would be the deciding factor to me (and it looks cooler)

That’s how I feel about those two but now I’m undecided between the Alienware and the lg 34gk950g

It also overclocks no problem to 120hz but some people complain the colors are to saturated.

This really doesn’t seem to bother me to much because whenever I’m in bestbuy the LG and Samsung tvs always catch my eye much more.
