hello, i was looking for a good UPS recently and i found one in a local store, its APC and its 600W and 1500VA, now i don't know what all those means lol but I'm asking here will it be suitable for my PC? my power supply is corsair CX600.
Thanks
EDIT: And can someone please tell me what is pure-sine wave?

1500 VA is a bit too much. 1000Va is sufficient for your full load scenario, that is when gaming you will get 5 to 10 mins backup power that allows you to shutdown your PC. With non gaming load a 1000 VA UPS allows backup time of 20-40 mins. APC is a trust worthy brand but after sales support is not so good in my area may not be the case on yours though.

Only my rig will be connected to the UPS, I need the UPS cause electricity goes off and comes back on a lot here, and whenever it does my PC gives me a warning that a power supply surge was detected, so before I wreck my rig I wanna get a UPS that holds for 5 mins.
my PC Specs are:
CPU: Core i5 4690k (None OC)
GPU: Asus HD7850 DCU2 V2 2GB GDDR5
CPU Cooler: CM Seidon 120V V2
Motherboard: Asus Z97-E
RAM: Crucial ballistix sport 8gb (2x4)
HDD: 2x1TB WD Blue
SSD: 120gb Samsung evo 850
PSU: Corsair CX600
Chase: CM K280
Fans: 2x120mm CM Jetflo fans
a keyboard and a mouse and a DVD Rewriter and an external Wi-Fi device to connect to the Wi-Fi
the Best UPS I found is APC brand, and its 600W and 1500VA. is that good enough?

what if I connect my 32 inch TV to it too? will 1500VA hold for 5 mins? with a 32 inch LED TV and my rig connected to it?

VA ratting simply means UPS maximum loading ability not backup time really. The more the VA the more you can put load to a UPS. Backup time depends on UPS battery capacity, number of batteries used as well as connected loads. So a 1500 VA UPS may not offer you more backup time if it had the same battery capacity as that of a 1000VA but allows more connected load. Regarding 32 LED TV use with your UPS which is I am not sure about its power draw so cant really recommend on its usage. Any PC monitor works fine though.

I can buy a battery for it too, as far as I know their batteries look similar to a car's battery only smaller right? they look like a box and they are 12V or something. but how do I get to connect it to my UPS?

That is too technical for me to help you more on that...
