It worked on DVI on my rx 570 144hz, after i reinstalled drivers with ddu, i installed rx 6600 and it can only work on DP, problem is that my monitor locked now at 100hz, i tried to reinstall drivers again with DDU, turning off and trying to insert cables again in monitor and in gpu, used cable from my brother PC that use DP as well and he get 144, but i do not, 100hz again.
This DP cable is made by some E-green company, https://www.eponuda.com/displayport...layport-m-displayport-m-1-8m-crni-cena-580996 here is how it looks.
Can it be problem with cable or?

Btw my monitor is ASUS Asus Monitor 24" VG248QE.

tldr
Rx 570 on dual link dvi had option for 144hz
RX 6600 on DP goes up from 59 up to 100hz, there is no 144hz option.

Display Port 1.2, should be able to do 1080p 144hz. The HDMI port should also be able to handle it.

You may need to install the monitor driver:

It is the tiny one: ASUS_VG248_Windows_8_WHQL

And have you tried that other monitor on your system?

@Eximo
Hey i tested my brothers AOC monitor and with his monitor and his DP cable i had only 60hz and 1024 resolution.. LOL.
After that, i put back PD cable that was making me stuck at 100hz, and guess what, somehow i got option to have 144hz. Weird.
Now i have bottleneck problem with r5 2600. But at least it works! :p
Could problem be in bad quality dp cables?

Possibly. It is not uncommon for cost cutting in cables to leave out wires or shielding. But I suspect this is more of Display Ports oddness when it comes to be plugged and unplugged. For best results, reboot when you do Display Port in and outs.

The HDMI port on that monitor only supports 1080p@60Hz, only DP and DL DVI support 1080P@ 120 and 144Hz.
Operating modes are on page 3-8 of the manual.
