Hi,
I recently saw that some newer-end games seem to lag on my pc, like Arma 2 or Diablo III. Also my pc crashes about 3 times a day ( Blue screen: Memory-management ). My CPU jumps allot (~5%, ~50%, 100%). So i though i should change my pc components as well as buy new ram cards, because of that annoying blue screen. Although i ran into a few problems...
My motherboard is M3N-H/HDMI which has AM2+ and i haven't seen any new components that would be compatible with my motherboard. Also if i changed my motherboard wouldn't i need to change everything else too? Isn't it cheaper just to buy a new pc? I don't really know, so i'm asking for an advice.

Here's what i have right now:
Motherboard: M3N-H/HDMI AM2+
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3.1 GHz
RAM: 6 GB (4 slots, DDR2 each, 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 GB)
Gfx Interface: PCI-Express
GPU: GPU215 (NVIDIA GeForce GT220)
*EDIT *
PSU: ~600W
HDD: 921 GB

Thanks anyway :)

Solution
Just tell budget and we suggest best build for that price.

And sure let us know if you save PSU and case and what they are.

This is Intel build. and AMD is maybe cheaper.

Solution
your cpu is a pile of junk...................so is your video card................ and you're trying to play what?.............. cmon. the best on the existing board would be a 965 quad core( if you can still find one ) and maybe a 2gig 7850/7870?

i see with the right BIOS you can run a phenom2 6core........... but wouldn't waste my money on that...............

otherwise, give budget as said earlier...

umm, CS:GO works perfectly on high resolution, btw i bought some of my current parts about a year ago, so i wouldn't say they're that bad

you really need to reassess that....................... the processor is way old and the graphics card is for watching movies........... if the person selling you that machine told you it was a good gamer.............. maybe back in 2005..........
