Hi everyone,

So, I have been using a 2TB Seagate HDD for installing games & mods on my system since the last 5+ years.

I was looking to upgrade to a 2TB M.2 NVME drive.
I am looking for a very reliable drive that is not too heavy on the wallet. I would not like to spend too much on a blazing fast Gen 4 NVME.

I had a few options I came that across I am interested in.
  • Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB M.2 NVME
  • Western Digital Black SN770 2TB M.2 NVME
  • Western Digital Blue SN570 2TB M.2 NVME
**Note: I already have a 500 GB NVME drive for OS, so I am looking only to install/ store & play games from the new M.2 drive.**

Which of these would be good for playing games?

Thank you in advance!

My Hardware Info:
CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K
Motherboard: MSI Z590 Carbon
Gfx card: MSI RTX 3070 Gaming X trio
RAM: 2x16GB G.Skill TridentZ 3200Mhz
OS Drive: WD Black SN700 500GB M.2 NVME
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster MA612 Stealth ARGB
PSU: NZXT C850 80+ Gold (850W)
Case: CoolerMaster MB500

Any of those 3 would be fine.

Also, look around for the Intel 670p; the 2 TB version is 70 dollars at Newegg right now.

As long as they don't fail, you might not be able to tell the difference among them.

I used the 2TB 970 Evo Plus for 2 years as my main drives… and I still use the same ones as secondary drives in my system.

Highly recommended. Samsung Magician software is the best there is too.
