I'm having a hard time choosing a lcd montior.
The criteria are as follows
must be able to display a 1080i/p image.
size should be between 24in-27in.
actual contrast ratio 1000:1
usage - ps3/xbox 360, computer, possible tv, overall gaming monitor.
low latency.
low input lag (though, is it really noticeable and effect game play. since i have the 2408wfp as a choice and its only downside that I have found is the high input lag)
price doesn't really matter though nothing over a grand. I'm not that rich =P
No glossy screens like gateway's fhd2400
The list of possible chooses are so far:
Dell's 2408wfp, 2709w
Samsung 's 2493 hm, 2693hm, t240, t240hd, t260, t260hd(when its out)
maybe the acer p243waid, x263wi
Benq g2400wd
The real issue is whether to consider input lag or not since I am almost a hardcore gamer, though by far not a competitive one. Is it going to effect the game so much that I'm going to hate the monitor that I've just purchase? I play all types of game from unreal to age of conan. You name it, I probably have played it.
