Need help Choosing a GTX 960 card

I'm stuck between the EVGA GTX 960 SSC and GIGABYTE GTX 960 G1 gaming.
I plan on overclocking whichever one I get, so I'd also like to know which one would overclock the highest in core speed and memory speed.
I plan on doing only 1080p gaming.
Any other GPU suggestion within this price range from nvidia would also be helpful

Have you considered a r9 280x? They are the same price and the 280x performs quite a bit better. However, if you are set on a gtx 960, I think the gigabyte will do better for overclocking and cooling.

I have but, I want to go with nvidia on this on, do you know any other nvidia cards with the same price to performance ratio?

The only Nvidia card that has a remotley close price/performance of the amd alternatives is the gtx 970. Nvidia is nice though if you have a low wattage psu.

I cannot possibly recommend the GTX960. It's been a tremendous disappointment, and it's a flat out terrible value.
The R9 280 performs just as well for $40 cheaper. The R9 280x is faster for the same price.

Also keep in mind that r9 280 is very old tech compared to 960, yet it still performs way better and at a cheaper price.
