Currently I am looking for a new 144hz monitor. My GPU is a 1080 and I play a variety of games but mainly fps and other online competitve shooters. But at the same time I also play a lot on console, meaning, I would like a monitor suitable for both, PC and PS4.
I heard it would be better to play on the native resolution of the screen. Which means I would have to go for 1080p because of the ps4 ( correct me if I am wrong ).
I already saw a lot of monitors like the Benq xl2411P and the viewsonic xg2402 which are all meant to have low input lag which is important for me because I am really comoetitive. But I also like to have decent colours like the samsung c24fg73 seems to have. But with this one input lag is higher and I do not know to what extent the difference is noticeable for an competitve advantage.
I hope someone can help me out with this and share some experiences. Maybe give some other recommendations. Or some tips for a setup combining pc and console.
