Hey guys, I'm planning for my first build and can't really decide on which motherboard to get. I want to get the Asus Maximus VIII Hero motherboard because I have become very familiar with the board, but reading reviews on that ASUS motherboard I have heard people having many issues with them and I don't want to end up with a faulty motherboard for my first build.
I have narrowed down my searches to these motherboards:
1) ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO
http://www.amazon.com/MAXIMUS-VIII-H.../dp/B012NH1SK8

2) Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7
http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-LGA11.../dp/B012IBPJ6I

3) MSI Z170A GAMING M7
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Motherboar.../dp/B0131GA4PK

4) ASRock Z170 Extreme7+
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157627

I really don't want to end up with a sh**ty motherboard for my first build. My budget for a motherboard is no more than ~$250. It is also preferable if you own one of those motherboards and can vouch for its performance.

Thanks in advanced 😀

The Hero was my choice, have it with a 6600K...thus far I've run a half dozen CPU coolers on it a number of set of DRAM up through 32GB of 3200 (both 2x16 and 4x8GB sets, a number of GPUs up to and including 980s in SLI and 290Xs in XFire - it's taken all I've thrown at , OCs very well, great BIOS
