I've read so many different opinions on what wattage psu is enough and I'm just plain confused.

Before we get started here's a few things:

1. I live in Australia
2. Seasonic is not really an option as I'll have to pay for shipping.
3. That leaves me with Antec, Corsair, Coolermaster and EVGA for psu brands. (haven't heard much good RE coolermaster so I'm staying away from them)
4. These are the prices I'm going by http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf (page 2 middle column, second box from bottom)
5. MOST IMPORTANT, I'm looking for good 'bang for buck', something that will work well and not leave me too poor, but dont want to cheap out on arguably the most important component of the build either.
6. I do not pay for electricity
7. It's an mATX build so its only ever going to be a single gpu build

My Build:
Motherboard AsRock H97m Pro4 - $105
CPU Intel i5 4460 - $239
RAM G.SKill Ares 8gb Kit - $70
GPU Sapphire R9-280X Vapor X - $220
SSD Samsung 840 EVO 250gb - $145
Case CoolerMaster Silencio 352 - $76

What I think are valid options with prices:
Antec HCG 520m / 620m / 750m 98 / 118 / 159
Antec Truepower 550 / 650 / 750 117 / 128 / 149
Corsair CS 550m / 650m / 750m 119/139/149
EVGA SuperNova G2 750 145

Some concerns:
1. Read that if I go lower wattage psu, as the load increases, the psu fan noise increases. (ie when gaming)
2. Dont want to cheap out on psu or risk having not enough power for the system.

Help me plz.

I think all of those are "good enough", except the antec 520. But i would get the evga 750. That psu will last a long time, you will have room for improvement, its gold certified, so you will save some money compared to the others bronze certified psu's, and its very quiet.
