i cant decide between the seasonic or corsair psu.

i plan on running dual 7970 ghz in the future

What are the other components in your build? My bet is that you will not need more than 750W to 800W. A kilowatt is just overkill.

well im going with that big of a psu because i plan on running two gpus and the 7970 ghz that i have now uses a lot of power. my 700 watt right now cant run the card at max power i have to turn it down by 15% for my computer to be stable.

Yes; you mentioned that. HD 7970 GHz CrossFireX won't use up more than 850W even on high OC. Of course, the PSU doesn't just account for the graphics cards, but every other component in your build.
