need help choosing a video card for older system

This is a gaming system, but I don't really play super intense games. Mainly older mmo's.

current setup:
evga 780i
750w ps
intel 5460
8 gig ddr2
gtx260

What video card would max this system out?
gtx590?
R9 290?

I was wanting to stay about $200.

The 290 would probably max out. The 590 is much older maybe if going for GTX go for 760

if your just playing older games on 1080p or less depending on how old you could use a gtx 750ti for under 200$ mine atm is 160-170$ depending on where you go to get it if your willing to spend about 210$ the gtx 960 is a extremely good card that will max out a lot of older games at ultra setting hell my 750ti acx/ftw will max out older games how old are the games you are talking about because both of the cards I just mentioned can max out pretty much every single game at ultra settings on all games before 2011-2012 including AA but the 750ti is iffy on shadows If I were you get the gtx 960 its newer and more powerful
