Hi guys, I'm building a new PC with a i7 6700K processor to be used mostly for with in digital art and desing(like Photoshop CS6) with Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 32GB(2x16GB), 3000MHz, CL15 ram used and I can't quite decide on the motherboard. It seems like all the z170 are riddled with some issues the one that looked.

The most promising one right now is the asus z170 pro gaming, but there are a lot of complains online about its Bios and a lot of problems connected with it.

I am also considering Asrock Z170 K4 tho in this case I am not entirely convinced about its non-standard size and the M.2 ports location, and I don't see my ram model on its high speed support - http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20Z170%20Gaming%20K4/?cat=Memory

There is also MSI Z170A Krait Gaming but this one again has an unussual size and only 8 phase configuration.

Tha last one is ASUS Z170-A tho I haven't found out much about it.

Are they that bad? Someone told me that this one has only 8 phases. I've been also recommended a Asrock Z170 K4 tho it seems to be more of an bare bones option.

Well, so all in all it comes down to Asrock Z170 K4 vs ASUS Z170-A or Pro Gaming tho the later 2 seem to have a lot of negative reviews concerning their BIOS's with a lot of them not working out of the box, on the other hand Asrock is a cheaper board with non standard size, that's kind of a bummer.

New mobos, new CPUs, new DRAM, new OS, lots of new builders getting frustrated and doing things like not updating the BIOS, not getting the latest drivers (i.e. using those on the disk that comes with the mobo which are generally out of date when they get the mobo ;)
