I’m on my way to building a new PC but not sure which motherboard to choose. I do a little bit of video games and little bit of video editing, more of everything, web surfing, photoshop etc. I still want to get the most out of it. I went through pcpartpickers and these high rated and popular listings. I have already picked my Ryzen 3 2200G CPU so I think AM4 will be my only socket choice. I’m willing to spend around $120 on a motherboard. Let me know what you guys suggest.

•MSI - B350 PC MATE

•MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK

•Asus - STRIX B350-F GAMING

•Asus - ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING

Solution
You cant uses a B350 board with a 2200g (without updating the bios with a 1st gen chip)

So you'll have to get either a B450 or an X470 (you dont need x470 for your applications)

I'd go with the tomahawk, good board.

Yes I saw that incompatible error while putting them together. I looked up the cheapest older AM4 CPU was like $30. I don’t think I want to spend an extra $30 just to update the bios.
