Need help choosing an upgrade

Hello everyone, and Merry Christmas! I am deciding between a new video card or 8 gb of ram. Not sure which one to take at the moment ill get both eventually but not sure which one to jump on. Im choosing between the msi r9 270 or 8 gb ram. I wanna play bf4 on ultra but i know my current video card and ram probably couldnt do it. Any help is appreciated thanks!

CPU: I5 3570k
GFX: HD 7770 ghz edition
4gb ram

Well if you can afford either of them right now, i say go for the video card. Ram aren't that expensive and since you probably will need both of them for bf4, why not get a gpu and for the time being, and enjoy games that use only 4Gb ram? There are plenty of those out there

If you are on a 32bit OS then no need to upgrade RAM at this moment. Upgrade the GPU for better performance in games. And go with GTX 760 which is slightly better than R9 270. Good luck.

Thanks for the help guys. I am on 64 bit windows 8.1, and im going with the graphics card. Still the r9 270 because of the price point.
